How to Keep America Working (Safely) and Support Local Restaurants

April 09, 2020

COVID-19 is having a dramatic impact on our lives, businesses, and our customers.

I want to share an update on what i-Blades is doing to keep our customers and our people safe while working remotely to continue our efforts to bring you leading technology.

i-Blades is following the guidance of global health experts at the World Health Organization (WHO) and U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus. We are reminding our team about frequent hand washing, and we are regularly cleaning and disinfecting our facilities and equipment. Importantly, we are all working remotely to avoid exposure.

Many people are asking the same question how do we keep America working and come out of this challenge stronger. We at i-Blades believe in doing our fair share to continue operations leveraging the latest remote technology. Interestingly, our team has always been working remotely and using tools like Trello, Skype, DropBox, FreeConferenceCall, high speed home connectivity, and many other tools. You see, our team is primarily based in Silicon Valley but we have always had team members in Seattle, Portland, Wisconsin, Europe and Asia. Therefore, working remotely is not novel to us.Ā

However, from what we have seen remote working is novel to many other industries and clearly there are industries where remote working does not apply at all such as service industry, entertainment industry and many others. For example, restaurants, movie theaters and parks have closed or dramatically reduced their operations.

Therefore, we want to do our part in two ways. First between now and end of April we give you, our awesome customer, 10% off your purchase and then we set aside another 10% to support our local restaurants. I hope you join us in using Discount Code CV10 to support our local restaurant community.

In the meantime, stay safe and keep America Working, Safely.

The i-Blades Team.
